Let me introduce myself

Hi, I'm Michele. I'm a Style Adviser and I sell beautiful clothes.

My aim is to give you the knowledge to be able to style yourself for the rest of your life, regardless of fashion and trends. 

I'm not a traditional Image Consultant. I'll never tell you what you should or shouldn't wear and you won't go away with a set of swatches. 

I'm not a Stylist. They are the very highly paid, glamourous people who paint models with gold leaf and put Lady Gaga in streaky bacon. Tempting, but not for me!

My lovely Showroom & Studio is where you'll find me most days, surrounded by gorgeous clothes, with lovely ladies who want to learn how to look fabulous. We drink wine, eat cake and gossip about the world. We play around with looks, try out new ways to wear it, have lots of fun and often become good friends.

If I'm not working with clients you'll find me hooked up to the computer blogging, chatting on facebook or twitter, or getting inspired by others. 

And then I get to go to fashion shows, buying trips and lots of networking with interesting people.

Not a bad life, even if I do say so myself!

 

Beautiful Clothes

Gorgeous designs, luxurious fabrics, realistic sizing, ethical production, great prices - where can you find all that? Here!

My collections are designed in France by a small design team headed up by a woman who believes in making beautiful clothes for real women. The clothes are mostly made in Europe and are delivered direct from the warehouse.

No advertising, no shops, no catalogues. You can't buy these clothes in shops, online or by mail order. My personal sevice, helping you choose exactly the right styles for you, together with these lovely clothes will ensure you never again have a "nothing to wear" day!

Miss Captain puts the focus on natural, soft fabrics with designs which add flair to your daytime look. Great if you want to add a touch of individuality and style to your wardrobe.

The perfect clothes for everyday. Taking the kids to school, walking the dog, shopping at the supermarket - be fabulous without fuss.

Lady Captain gives you easy sophistication. Luxurious fabrics, great designs and the perfect cut for real women. Great for curvy ladies who refuse to compromise on style.

An elegant range to take you from lunch with the girls, to business meetings right through to dinner.

The children adore the famous steam train which will whisk them off to the stunning Bodiam Castle, and the lovely market town of Tenterden.

Big and small kids will find lots to enjoy at the Pedal Car Toy Museum.

Or you can visit Great Dixter, just a short walk from our studio to see the award-winning gardens of the late Sir Christopher Lloyd.

A bit more about me

Well, I'm flattered you're interested.  I wonder what you might want to know...?

I love clothes, shoes, friends, men, make-up, business, sex, the sun, handbags, wine, family, food, snow, technology and just about everything in-between.

I hate bad service, housework, pessimism, wasting time, getting old, fast food, and grumbling.

My friends would say that I'm passionate, opinionated, full of energy, ambitious, honest, outspoken. My lovely (long-suffering!) husband would add that I'm forgetful and always late, but fun to be around. My kids would just roll their eyes and say "whatever"!
